The starting XI the Red Devils are likely to field against the Potters.
In the second successive night of quarter-finals in the League Cup Manchester United travel to Stoke City on the back of a win over Aston Villa at the weekend.
That victory helped ease the pressure on manager David Moyes and a good run in this competition will only serve as further help.
Here is how fanatix thinks the Red Devils will line-up against Stoke.
Goalkeeper – Anders Lingaard
After playing against Norwich City in the last round the Dane is expected to be given another chance between the sticks by Moyes.
Right-back – Chris Smalling
With Rafael operating on the right-hand side of defence against Villa on Sunday, expect Smalling to be given another chance to impress.
Centre-back – Rio Ferdinand
With injuries beginning to plague the 35-year-old veteran, cup competitions could well be the way forward for the Englishman.
Centre-back – Nemanja Vidic
Like Ferdinand the United captain has also just returned from injury and this match could be the perfect opportunity to help return to full fitness.
Left-back – Alexander Buttner
Patrice Evra is likely to be rested once again which means that Buttner will be able to come in for a rare appearance on the left.
Central midfield – Phil Jones
The most versatile player at Moyes’ disposal, the England international was in great form once again at the weekend in defence and now Jones could return to midfield.
Central midfield – Tom Cleverley
After also impressing against the Villans Cleverley is expected to be retained in the starting XI for this tie.
Right wing – Wilfried Zaha
The winger was given a chance against Norwich in the last round as Moyes seems reluctant to play the youngster at any other time and could well get another chance here.
Left wing- Ashley Young
It’s been quite the fall from grace for the 28-year-old, with Adnan Januzaj being preferred in the league to the winger.
Striker – Javier Hernandez
The Mexican has had few opportunities this term and the League Cup is becoming the only arena for the forward to impress of late.
Striker – Danny Welbeck
After netting a brace against Villa the attacker should be high on confidence and with the opportunity to rest Wayne Rooney, the starlet should start again.
