Stevenage are hopeful winger Filiper Morais will recover in time to face high-flying Premier League outfit Everton but Dean Parrett – formerly of Tottenham – is a major doubt with a dead leg.
The Toffees are without Seamus Coleman, Antolin Alcaraz, Ross Barkley and Steven Pienaar, while long-term absentees Gerard Deulofeu, Darron Gibson and Arouna Kone remain sidelined.
Stevenage boss Grahan Wesley is confident his League One side can stun Everton and match their 3-1 third-round win against Newcastle in 2011.
“We are not thinking about a replay. We know our best chance of beating them will be here,” Westley told BBC Sport.
“We went into the tie against Newcastle struggling in League Two.
“Not many saw that upset coming but we thought differently then and we are feeling in a similar mindset now.”
Roberto Martinez is the current FA Cup winning manager having claimed the trophy with Wigan last season and says his side will not take any chances against Stevenage.
“We are going to try to be as good as we can and make sure we don’t let the home side have the advantage they will otherwise have,” he said.
“I think in these rounds people forget that the divisional status counts for very little, and it is about how you adapt on the day to the conditions, surroundings and environment.
“The home team is always the favourite in these rounds, so we need to make sure we are ready to face a very difficult game.”
