Liverpool star Raheem Sterling is not currently a target for Arsenal, or at least that is the line from Gunners boss Arsene Wenger at the moment, according to the Daily Telegraph.

The 20-year-old contract rebel is currently being linked with a whole host of top clubs in the Premier League and Europe, but Wenger insists his side have not made any approach to bring the player to the Emirates Stadium.
Sterling is regarded as one of the best young players in the world at the moment after an outstanding breakthrough season for Liverpool last term, quickly becoming one of the Reds’ most important players and a regular in the England national team.
His current contract situation as put clubs on alert, but Wenger has cooled talk of a sensational move by Arsenal to raid their rivals for this potentially world class young talent.
“We are not on any transfer case, and that includes Sterling,” he said.
Sterling is set to face Arsenal for Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium in this afternoon’s Premier League clash.
