- 17 Eden Hazard (Essien – 85′ ) – 6
The Belgian flyer was at nowhere near the level he’s shown in recent weeks, and a few neat flicks aside, was relatively anonymous – in the first half especially.
- 14 Andre Schürrle (Willian – 53′ ) – 5
Didn’t do anything to suggest Mourinho will give more chances from the off in the near future, and was hauled off along with Mata for the much more impressive Willian.
- 09 Fernando Torres – 9
The striker was electric and dynamic from the off, and was unlucky not to score more than one goal. He did score Chelsea’s vital opener, when he cleverly adjusted himself to head home after Oscar hit the post.
