Despite enduring a torrid debut season in the Premier League while on loan at Manchester United in the 2014-15 campaign, AS Monaco striker Radamel Falcao appears to be on the verge of returning to England with champions Chelsea.
Talks are ongoing over another loan move that would see the 29-year-old Colombia international bolster Jose Mourinho’s attack, presumably as a replacement for Didier Drogba, who provided backup support for main marksman Diego Costa last term.
Falcao scored just four league goals in 26 games for United, so his move to Stamford Bridge is viewed by many as a crazy transfer.
