San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York called his team’s performance against the Seattle Seahawks unacceptable on Twitter and apologized.
The San Francisco 49ers were demolished, 19-3, by the Seattle Seahawks on Thanksgiving night. This puts the 49ers’ playoff hopes in jeopardy as they are now in third place in the NFC West.
49ers owner Jed York seemed particularly upset about the loss, and he took to Twitter to apologize for his team’s performance.
These kinds of comments may also be a sign that head coach Jim Harbaugh may be on his way out the door. There have been rumors all season long of Harbaugh leaving San Francisco after the 2014 season is over.
Here is the tweet from the 49ers owner.
Thank you #49ersfaithful for coming out strong tonight. This performance wasn’t acceptable. I apologize for that
