New Orleans Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan believes that this is the year he wins his first Super Bowl ring.
The New Orleans Saints are primed to be leading Super Bowl contenders this upcoming season. The team feels that way, and defensive end Cameron Jordan is among those players.
Jordan expressed his optimism in an interview with NFL Network. “Cam Jordan going back home to Arizona, Super Bowl in Arizona. We have the team in place, we have an offense, we have Drew Brees, we have Jim Graham now, he’s happy, and that’s a huge thing for us,” Jordan said.
Jordan also set a personal goal for himself to reach 16 sacks. This will be a realistic goal for him since he set a career high in 2013 with 12.5.
The Saints improved their defense dramatically last season, thanks to Jordan’s pass-rushing ability and their secondary. Quarterback Drew Brees has shown no sign of slowing down either.
Jordan is entering his fourth year in the NFL, and he still has yet to win a Super Bowl, so the hunger is there as indicated by his comments.
