Veteran joins Harry at Loftus Road.
Richard Dunne, the 77 times capped Republic Of Ireland defender, has left Aston Villa and joined QPR on a one-year deal.
His contract though comes with a very unusual clause.
Rangers can cancel the deal at any time should the centre half, who has played less than half a match in the last year, break down with injury.
Harry Redknapp was delighted with the signing though, declaring: ‘He’s a top class defender, a great guy, a great character, and is just what we need.
‘He was Manchester City’s player of the year for four seasons running, he’s exactly the type I am looking for’.
Apparently it’s the end of a long chase as well, as Dunne revealed: ‘I’ve been very close to signing for Harry on a few occasions, and the opportunity to work with him appealed to me’.
