Real Madrid are reportedly planning to make a £35m bid for Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero next summer as they eye a replacement for Karim Benzema, according to Fichajes.net.

The Argentine has long been linked with a move to the Bernabeu, and though £35m will surely not be enough to persuade City to sell, it seems Real are dead set on landing the in-form 26-year-old.
Benzema has recently been linked with an exit from Real and has attracted interest from Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool among others, and Aguero’s arrival in Spain would surely see the Frenchman head for England.
This would provide a big double boost for City’s rivals, with Aguero sure to be a big miss for Manuel Pellegrini’s side, and with Benzema a potentially superb signing for any one of Arsenal, United or Liverpool.
Consistently a world class goalscorer throughout his career, Benzema has long been undervalued at the Bernabeu but could really shine in the Premier League.
