The Englishman gets the nod ahead of Soldado.
It’s a London derby in the Premier League as Tottenham Hotspur host West Ham United at White Hart Lane.
Spurs are hoping to continue their strong start to the season against West Ham and have made a big call by playing Jermain Defoe ahead of Roberto Soldado.
The Spaniard is yet to score from open play in the league and has failed to find the net for four matches, whereas Defoe has shown some fine form in the Europa League.
Here are the two line-ups:
Here’s our team – Lloris; Walker, Dawson, Vertonghen, Naughton; Dembele, Paulinho; Townsend, Eriksen, Sigurdsson; Defoe.
