Pogba has been heavily linked with a move to City, however Daily Star reports PSG are willing to match Juventus’ £70m valuation of the France international.
Real Madrid and Barcelona are also reportedly interested in the former Manchester United man, and the newspaper reports that Pogba prefers a move to the La Liga.
However, Barcelona are currently serving a transfer ban and cannot sign players until 2016 while Real Madrid are believed to be put off by Pogba’s £200k-a-week wage demands.
City and PSG are willing to match Pogba’s wage demands, and it will now come down to a bidding war between two of Europe’s most financially powerful clubs.
According to Daily Star, City are also interested in Raheem Sterling and Jack Wilshere as the club looks to boost its quota of home-grown players.
