Canaries linked with out-of-favour Swansea striker.
Norwich City are on the verge of making a bid for Swansea City’s English centre forward Danny Graham, according to The Daily Mail.
The former Watford man was a key player in Brendan Roger’s Swansea side last season, scoring 12 Premier League goals in his debut season in the top flight.
Rogers has since been replaced by Michael Laudrup however, who doesn’t consider the player worthy of a first team slot.
The player feels his position at the club is becoming increasingly precarious with rumours surfacing of Laudrup’s interest in various Spanish forwards to partner with goal sensation Michu, including Celta Vigo’s Iago Aspas and Barcelona’s David Villa.
Graham had indicated a willingness to fight for his place in the team, but is now willing to cut his losses with the prospect of regular first team football.
Despite a more limited role this season, the player has still managed to hit the net five times and his performances have been good enough to persuade Norwich to make a move.
The Norfolk club are looking for more firepower to ease the burden on Grant Holt, and with Steve Morison being rumoured to be ready to depart for Aston Villa this January, the club are getting ready to make their move.
