Newcastle United will hope to get their season back on track with victory over Wigan Athletic at St James’ Park.
Newcastle United have now lost four Premier League matches in a row, and have the same amount of points as their opponents this evening – Wigan Athletic.
Still, Latics boss Roberto Martinez has much less pressure on his shoulders than his Magpies counterpart Alan Pardew, who signed a new eight year deal in the summer.
Pardew is expected to bring European football to Newcastle United – hopefully sooner rather than later. A win against Wigan Athletic would be a good start.
