Ryan Griffin took a big step back in the battle for the No. 2 job when he was held to 46 yards and an interception on 8-for-13 passing against the Indianapolis Colts. However, McCown didn’t look much better as he threw for 45 yards on 3-for-10 passing.
The wide receiver competition will heat up beyond Marques Colston, Kenny Stills and Brandin Cooks. Joseph Morgan, Nick Toon and Robert Meachem are expected to snag the final roster spots.
