Bosh hasn’t spoken to LeBron: Former team-mates haven’t spoken since James’ exit.
Bosh was close to Heat exit: Center considered switch to Houston.
Miami Heat center Chris Bosh has clarified comments he made earlier this week and insisted that there are no hard feelings over LeBron James’ exit this summer.
Bosh revealed earlier this week that he had ended communication with his former team-mate after his decision to re-sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers this off-season.
While many took that as the Heat star being bitter towards James, Bosh has moved to clarify his comments and insist that it is merely because he is focused on helping his team and current team-mates, while James is arguably doing the same in Cleveland.
“There’s no hard feelings or anything,” Bosh said after practice on Thursday.
“If we’re both trying to win, he’s against us, and that’s a matter of fact.”
Bosh went on to reveal that he had spoken to James but he is now focusing on living up to his new deal that he signed this summer and he will need to deal with the pressure that comes with it.
The former team-mates will come face-to-face on Saturday for the first time as the Cavaliers and Heat will play each other in Brazil as part of their pre-season schedules.
James insisted this week that it would be “special” to see his former team-mates this weekend and he also dismissed the notion that they had fallen out and believes that it is the media trying to make a story out of it.
