The Portuguese coach continues to play mind games.
Bewilderingly to everyone Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho continues to try and suggest the that the club are outsiders in the Premier League title race.
Jose: ‘I’m not saying we are not going to win the league; I’m saying we are outsiders. We are trying to improve.’ #CFC

Jose: ‘We are where we are because we are doing very well, or because Man City and Arsenal are not doing as well as they might be.’ #CFC

Mourinho: ‘Everything I say and do are mind games. The only thing that is not mind games are the results.’ #CFC

After beating Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium last Sunday the Blues are third in the English top tier on goal difference and are just two points off leaders Arsenal.
Yet after that victory against the Citizens Mourinho used a strange metaphor using horses to suggest the west Londoners were still not the favourites for the title.
“[We are] A little horse that still needs milk and to learn how to jump. A horse that next season can race,” the 51-year-old was quoted by the Daily Express.
Considering that the side were the biggest spenders in England in the January transfer window after shelling out £44.5m on new players, this argument seems flawed.
In fact since Roman Abramovich bought the club in 2003 the side have been among the highest spenders in Europe and have won three league titles, four FA Cups and the Champions League, so Mourinho’s comments about being ‘little horses’ are distinctly odd.
