Could this week get any worse, Gunners?

Arsenal have been dealt another blow following the 5-1 humiliation to Liverpool this weekend, as Bacary Sagna and Lukas Fabianski have rejected new contracts at the Emirates, reports the Star.
Arsene Wenger’s side were demolished at Anfield on Saturday lunchtime, and the news that their first-choice right-back and backup keeper will likely leave in the summer will cause further anguish to supporters.
Sagna is rated as one of the finest fullbacks in the Premier League, but the 30-year-old has refused Arsenal’s offer to extend his contract beyond the end of this season, apparently keen on signing for more lucrative terms elsewhere.
The news on Fabianksi will worry Gunners fans less, as he’s failed to really impress at the Emirates since arriving at the club in 2007. It does mean Arsenal will have to find another backup stopper for Wojciech Szczesny though, as his Polish compatriot wants to play regular first-team football elsewhere.
“I want to be No.1 in the club and in the Polish national team. I have learned a lot at London during very positive and challenging periods,” Fabianski said.
