Miami Dolphins center Mike Pouncey has been revealed to be one of the players involved in the harassment of Jonathan Martin when the Ted Wells report was released, but is not expected to face any action.
Guards Richie Incognito and John Jerry were also named in the report, with Incognito identified as the ringleader of the pattern of harassment against Martin. Another teammate and assistant trainer were also on the receiving end of the attacks.
Jerry signed with the New York Giants, and there has been no indication that he will receive any significant punishment. The Miami Herald report that Pouncey is not expected to receive any disciplinary action either.
NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said that he doesn’t expect that he will be addressing this issue again, but he did not rule it out completely.
Pouncey was named to his first Pro Bowl in his third season with the Dolphins despite the offensive line’s notable struggles. They allowed quarterback Ryan Tannehill to be sacked 58 times.
