The Scot wants to bring in Atletico’s Koke.
Atletico Madrid starlet Koke is set to be the subject of a £30m January bid from Manchester United when the transfer window opens in the New Year, according to the Mirror.
Manager David Moyes jetted out to Spain to watch the midfielder in action, with many initially thinking the Scot was there to keep tabs on Diego Costa.
Yet it is in fact the 21-year-old that Moyes wants and the United boss is keen to tie up a deal before other potential suitors such as Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Liverpool get a chance.
Manchester United contacts with Atletico for Koke intensively strengthened in last week. So much, that would be weird not to see them bidding

Moyes is desperate for creative midfield recruitment, after failing in attempts to bring fellow Spaniards Thiago Alcantara, Cesc Fabregas or Ander Herrera to Old Trafford in the summer.
In the end the Premier League champions had to make do with the deadline day arrival of Maroaune Fellaini and the Belgian has failed to impress since that £27.5m move.
Koke meanwhile has been in startling form for Atletico, so much so that the attacking midfielder has forced the youngster’s way into the senior national team – despite there being so much competition for places.
The Spaniard has earned five caps to date and has also scored three goals and provided nine assists in La Liga this term, with Atleti starting the campaign brilliantly.
