The Belgian is keen to make the switch before he costs too much.
Everton star Marouane Fellaini wants to make the move to Manchester United this summer before the 25-year-old’s price rises even higher in 12 months time, according to the Daily Mail.
The Belgium international has been the subject of a bid from the Red Devils, along with team mate Leighton Baines and it’s understood that the midfielder wants to make the switch.
Fellaini is currently valued by the Toffees at around £23m, but another good season at Goodison Park could see that amount rise even higher by 2014.
Likewise, there is a chance the Belgian could shine at next summer’s World Cup, with the midfielder’s national side tipped for great things in Brazil.
Fellaini is one of a number of top-class footballers from Belgium currently plying their trade in the Premier League, along with the likes of Vincent Kompany, Eden Hazard and Simon Mignolet.
Therefore it’s believed that the Merseyside ace could see his value rocket up above £30m if the country impress in South America.
United are certainly keen on Fellaini, as new manager David Moyes signed the midfield ace for a club record £15m fee back in 2008 whilst with Everton.
Moyes wants recruitment in the middle of the field following the retirement of Paul Scholes and has already failed in attempts to tempt Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona.
Therefore Fellaini could be the ideal acquisition for the English champions as the player has developed into the complete box-to-box midfielder at the Toffees.
