United hoping to lure Sergio Ramos away from the Bernabeu.
Manchester United are set to offer Real Madrid and Spain central defender Sergio Ramos a bumper £105,000 per week contract offer, after tax, to try and lure the unsettled star away from the European champions, according to reports from the Metro.

Ramos is reportedly unhappy at the Bernabeu due to differences with the club’s hierarchy, with his representatives indicating to other major clubs that he could be available in the near future – Arsenal did make contact, but the report suggests that the Gunners are not seriously considering a move for Ramos.
United manager Louis van Gaal, however, is very keen to bring a player who has been one of the finest defenders of his generation to Old Trafford, with the Dutchman seemingly keen to push through a deal as quickly as possible.
