Moyes wants Ozil and Kaka at Old Trafford.
After a superb start to the new Premier League season, Manchester United want to further improve their squad with Real Madrid duo Kaka and Mesut Ozil, reports Mundo Deportivo.
Under new manager David Moyes, United overcame a potentially difficult opening league tie at the Liberty Stadium, but eventually strolled to a comfortable 4-1 victory.
However, the Red Devils have been unusually quiet in the transfer market up until now and attempts to bring Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona have failed.
With talismanic midfielder Paul Scholes having retired this summer, United lack a certain amount of creativity in the centre of the park and believe Ozil and Kaka would be the solution.
The pair have had contrasting success at Madrid since big money moves, with the £56m for the Brazilian consequently ending in underachievement, whilst Ozil has been a huge hit at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Yet with Los Blancos in the hunt for new talent and midfielders Isco and Asier Illarramendi having been bought for large transfer fees in the current window, the Spanish giants could be open to letting a few of their other stars leave.
At 31 Kaka is approaching the end of the South American’s career at the top and could welcome one last fling with a strong European side.
Ozil meanwhile is still just 24-years-old and is becoming widely regarded as one of the most gifted attacking midfielders in world football.
Both play similar roles just behind the striker, but with Wayne Rooney possibly leaving the Premier League champions before the transfer deadline day, the Madrid maestros would certainly soften the blow of the Englishman’s departure.
