Manchester United not interested in Mesut Ozil…
Mesut Ozil’s father approached Manchester United about the player joining the Premier League champions, but the Red Devils were not interested, claims respected Spanish football journalist Graham Hunter.
Ozil is unhappy at the arrival of Isco and imminent Gareth Bale signing, meaning his place in the first-team is not guaranteed. As a result, Madrid are happy to move on the German playmaker, and received to offer him an improved contract during summer negotiations.
It virtually seems infeasible that any club would be uninterested in Ozil, such is the magnitude of his ability – but especially United, who have struggled to secure a marquee summer signing.
Here are Hunter’s tweets on the subject in chronological order:

#Özil not happy at the threat of Isco and #Bale to his place. Özil’s father is actively seeking to place him in the Prem. #United

#Özil however an initial approach to #United one week ago, brought no encouragement at all. Don’t know if that has changed, but doubt.
