Winger opts for Roy Hodgson’s men over representing Ivory Coast.
Wilfried Zaha has committed his international future to England over the Ivory Coast, the country of his birth.
fanatix tickets – El Clasico tickets are still available for the biggest derby match in Europe.
Real Madrid vs Barcelona tickets are on sale for this massive La Liga clash at the Bernabeu on March 3rd.
The Mail on Sunday report that Zaha’s mind has been made up after being told he is very much part of England manager Roy Hodgson’s plans for the 2014 World Cup qualification stage and the finals in Brazil should they make it.
The 20-year-old, who joined Manchester United in a £15million deal in the January transfer window but will remain with Championship side Crystal Palace until the end of the season, made his full England debut as a substitute in a friendly against Sweden last year.
But he was not bound to make a decision on whether to commit to England or pledge his allegiance to the Ivory Coast, the country of his birth, until playing in a competitive international for the full national team.
He will play for the under-21 side this week but a source said: “Wilfried wants to play for England. It’s been difficult for him because he knows what Ivory Coast means to his family and he even had Didier Drogba calling to ask him to play for them.
“But England has been a massive part of his life. It’s what he knows, the country has been his home for nearly all his life and they’re who he wants to play for.”
