Manchester United have announced that they have agreed a fee with Chelsea to sign Spanish playmaker Juan Mata.
The transfer remains subject to both personal terms and a medical, but Mata is expected to be a Red Devils player by the end of the weekend.

Mata scored 11 goals and provided 17 assists last season, and was voted Chelsea’s player of the year in each of the last two seasons.
This term though he has struggled for playing time, with Blues boss Jose Mourinho preferring Brazilians Oscar and Willian in the number ten role.
At Manchester United Juan Mata is likely to be the first name on the team sheet.
Should the move go through as expected, the Spaniard will become the most expensive signing in the Old Trafford outfit’s history.
