The Red Devils are new to the world of Twitter and Facebook… and it shows.
Sir Alex Ferguson was not a fan of the new media world of social networks, so Manchester United had to wait until the Scot had gone until setting up a Twitter account.
However, it has turned out that Fergie maybe had a point as United continue to make gaffes galore and in a very public way.
Not only are the side suffering on-field problems of late, but the posts from the club also leave little to be desired.

Not happy with that though, the Red Devils have now decided to bring down their own Facebook page as well, this time with a double cock-up.
To announce that Marouane Fellaini is sidelined with injury, United made two mistakes; firstly stating that the Belgian was a striker and secondly, that United fans would want to wish the new signing well.

…And here’s the response from the supporters. It won’t make happy reading for Fellaini.
