The Serb is not happy after a 4-1 hammering at the Etihad.
Not many Manchester United players will have slept well on Sunday night after the 4-1 hammering the side suffered at the hands of rivals Manchester City.
The result was fully justified considering the contrasting performances of the two sides and Red Devils captain Nemanja Vidic has revealed the horrible feeling the loss stirred.
“It is horrible to lose the derby game,” the 31-year-old was quoted by ITV.
“It hurts. Trust me, no-one will want to remember this.
“This loss has hurt but the most important thing the new manager and the old manager said was that you have to bounce back and win the next game.”
United’s defence were particularly woeful against the Citizens as the home side ripped through the visitors’ back four.
The experience of Vidic, Rio Ferdinand and Patrice Evra could not stop Sergio Aguero scoring a brace and Yaya Toure and Samir Nasri also netting.
None of the away side’s defenders came out of the match with any credit and other than Wayne Rooney, the entire team was very poor.
Luckily for the Premier League champions they don’t have too long to wait for a chance to redeem themselves, as Liverpool travel to Old Trafford for a League Cup clash on Wednesday.
Having already lost to the Reds once this term in the league, manager David Moyes will be keen to not let the same thing happen again.
A win over the rivals would also be a morale boost to all involved at the club.
