Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard is said to be open to a surprise move to Inter Milan in the January transfer window, according to the Daily Mirror.

The 34-year-old is nearing the end of his contract at Anfield and may be set to make the surprise move to call time on his long career with the Merseyside giants.
Gerrard has been a one-club man so far in his career, but is now tempted by a switch to Serie A, with Roberto Mancini said to be keen on making him one of his first signings since re-joining Inter.
Gerrard’s Liverpool team-mates Mario Balotelli and Fabio Borini have also been linked with moves to the San Siro this winter.
