Liverpool face West Ham on Saturday hoping to get back on track with a comprehensive performance against their struggling opposition.
Brendan Rodgers’ men were held to a goalless draw by Arsenal on Monday night, which in turn saw them drop their first points of the season.
Here is the XI we expect Rodgers to start with against the Hammers…
Liverpool vs West Ham preview: Key duo missing for hosts, struggle continues for Bilic
Premier League predictions: Arsenal lose as title rivals Chelsea, Liverpool, Man Utd & City all win
Europa League draw: Liverpool & Tottenham Hotspur face Champions League stalwarts in tough groups
GK: Simon Mignolet
Yet to concede a goal in the Premier League this season, the Belgian stopper will be desperate to continue that run of form.
RB: Nathaniel Clyne
Clyne has been a reliable presence on the right flank so far this season, and Rodgers will have no reason to change that anytime soon.
CB: Dejan Lovren
There has always been an air of anxiousness surrounding Lovren and Skrtel, but the pair seem to be offering a solid base this season.
CB: Martin Skrtel
Similar to Lovren, the mistakes are being cut out and the Slovakian star is playing his part in keeping things tight at the back.
LB: Joe Gomez
Arguably the biggest positive of the season so far for Rodgers, as the youngster is making the left-back position his own.
