Who would have thought that Liverpool could have two ‘inho’s in their starting line up next season! Jorginho is a Brazilian born Italian who plays for Verona, and Liverpool have lodged a £7 million bid for the 21-year-old, according to The Express. Like Eriksen, he is technically gifted, and fits into Liverpool’s recent buying policy of investing in young talent. Since Rodgers’ arrival they have been prepared to spend decent money on the likes of Joe Allen, Coutinho and Fabio Borini, and the manager has also shown faith in academy graduates, such as Raheem Sterling and Suso. If it wasn’t for his exotic name though, Liverpool fans may feel that the club has downgraded their ambitions if they were to pick up Jorginho from Serie B instead of the prolific Mkhitaryan.
