The 21-year-old is fast becoming regarded as one of the most exciting young shot-stoppers in the game, and is also attracting interest from the likes of AC Milan and Bayern Munich as the winter transfer window approaches.
The Reds are known to be in the market for a new goalkeeper to replace the under-performing Simon Mignolet, but had previously been linked with Real Madrid’s Iker Casillas.
Still, Perin now looks to be Brendan Rodgers’ top target for that position, and the club may pay £16m to bring him to Anfield this season.
