Reds linked with Serie A striker swoop.
Liverpool have been linked with an exciting move to sign Palermo wonderkid Paulo Dybala to solve their problems upfront, according to the Daily Star.
The Reds want to bring in a replacement for misfiring pair Mario Balotelli and Fabio Borini in the near future, and could look to beat Arsenal to this £31m-rated striking sensation.
The Argentine has been in superb form in Serie A this season, attracting plenty of interest and drawing comparisons with Manchester City star Sergio Aguero.
It is thought that a deal for Dybala to move to Arsenal is close to completion, though Liverpool will now hope to hijack the deal and bring in a replacement for Balotelli.
