RW: Adam Lallana
Not his best season and not the kind of form that caused Liverpool to splash a big amount on him last season.
It’s not been a terrible year by any stretch but it’s hardly a resounding success either, a good game could pave the way for a decent summer and set Lallana up for a great 2015/16.
CF: Raheem Sterling
Playing a false-nine agains the dominant Cahill and Terry might seem like suicide but Lambert or Balotelli would likely be eaten for the breakfast by the two, just see what they did to Olivier Giroud of Arsenal a few weeks ago.
Sterling scored against this Chelsea backline in the Capital One Cup and caused them all sorts of problems over the two legs, he could do here.
LW: Philippe Coutinho
Coutinho will want to make his mark away from home in the remains of this and next season. There’s no doubting his ability but on the road he never sees to have the same verve or bite he displays at Anfield.
