Liverpool travel to West Brom on Sunday lunchtime, hoping to make it four Premier League wins in five…
GK) Simon Mignolet
The Belgian keeper kept a clean sheet against Everton in the Merseyside derby, and looks to have found his excellent again from the beginning of the season again after a mid-term blip.
DR) Jon Flanagan
Flanagan left the field to a standing ovation against Everton, following another very impressive battling performance. Brendan Rodgers trusts him, and with Glen Johnson injured, Flanagan should get the nod.
DC) Kolo Toure
The veteran Ivorian defender has been ever present recently because of injuries to Daniel Agger and Mamadou Sakho. Although the latter could potentially make the bench, he’s very unlikely to start, meaning Toure should continue alongside Skrtel.
DC) Martin Skrtel
Skrtel played against Everton with a headband following an injury picked up in the FA Cup victory over Bournemouth, but was as solid as ever – and will be charged with dealing with Victor Anichibe up top.
DL) Aly Cissokho
The Frenchman is technically woeful, and is the weak link in Liverpool’s back line. With Jose Enrique still a long-term absentee, Rodgers has little choice but to start him once more.
