Martin Skrtel – 7/10
Made a nuisance of himself in the QPR penalty area on multiple occasions and won his side the penalty, which Gerrard failed to convert.
Steven Gerrard – 7.5/10
His failure to convert from the spot took the shadow off what was a very strong performance from the Reds skipper, who rolled back the years to dominate in the centre of the park, demanding the ball and trying his luck from long range. His goal was a rare header, which he took well.
Philippe Coutinho – 7/10
Showed great feet to break the deadlock, but dipped in and out of the game too much. Needs to produce his best more consistently.
