GK: Simon Mignolet – 7/10
Desperately unlucky that Cahill’s equaliser snook over the line before he could push it back out. Mignolet made an excellent save in either half, but he could do nothing to keep out Costa’s winner.
RB: Glen Johnson – 7/10
Made a couple of vital blocks, as well as a brilliant tackle on Eden Hazard.
CB: Martin Skrtel – 6/10
Did nothing spectacularly wrong, but had a very difficult afternoon.
CB: Dejan Lovren – 5/10
Not good enough. Kolo Toure should have played instead.
