Liverpool are looking to strengthen their options when the January transfer window opens by moving for a duo from one of their Premier League rivals, with reports suggesting that two Chelsea players could very well be on manager Brendan Rodgers’ wishlist.

The long-serving Chelsea goalkeeper has fallen behind Belgian youngster Thibaut Courtois in the pecking order since he returned to Stamford Bridge from a three year loan spell with Atletico Madrid, with the Daily Mail suggesting that Liverpool could take advantage of his situation and plot a £7m deal.
