A diminutive forward who has scored 9 goals in 49 Primera Division games for Juventud, Báez is one of the most exciting prospects in Uruguayan domestic football currently and looks set for a move to Europe shortly.
Liverpool are looking more and more likely to be the destination for Báez after the success of his compatriot Luis Suarez at Anfield, although it is likely that work permit issues would mean that Báez would have to be loaned out to continently Europe initially.
