Rodgers speaks out over Sterling future.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers admits he is not yet sure when Raheem Sterling will commit his future to the club and sign a new contract, the Daily Telegraph reports.
The Reds boss is confident that a deal can be struck, but was vague in his answers over Sterling’s future when asked about recent reports that the 20-year-old had turned down a new deal.
“I think if you look at his performance that will do the talking,” Rodgers said. “He is very happy at the club, he likes being where he has been given an opportunity to develop.
“There has been no unhappiness and it is between the club and his representatives to sort out a deal. I am sure that will get sorted out in time.”
