Barcelona flyer Isaac Cuenca could be on his way to the Premier League…

With only two days until the transfer window closes, Liverpool and Arsenal fight it out for for Barcelona’s Spanish winger Isaac Cuenca, reports talkSPORT.
The 22-year-old flyer was previously rated as one the Catalan club’s most promising players, but his career has so far been ravaged by injures, and he has not been able to fulfil his undeniable talent.
Following a nasty injury picked up last March while on loan for Ajax, Cuenca has played barely any first-team football.
Cuenca hasn’t featured once this term for Barcelona, and his manager has admitted he may move on this January.
“He is training,” Barca coach Tata Martino said.
“But we will see if he stays here or gets the chance to play elsewhere.”
Liverpool are in desperate need of reinforcements to their paper thin squad, especially as a £16m deal to sign Yevhen Konoplyanka may be hijacked by Tottenham.
Brendan Rodgers currently only has teenager Raheem Sterling and loanee Nigerian Victor Moses as genuine, natural wide options at Anfield.
Arsenal would seemingly need Cuenca much less, as they already have the likes of Serge Gnabry, Lukas Podolski, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Santi Cazorla, and the currently injured Theo Walcott to play the wide positions.
As a result, a loan move to Liverpool then would perhaps seem the more likely deal.
