Reds misfit could make Serie A return.
Lazio look to have offered an escape route to Liverpool flop Mario Balotelli this January, according to the Daily Mirror.
The misfiring 24-year-old, a £16m summer signing from AC Milan, has not been at his best since moving to Liverpool and could now be on his way out of the club this winter.
The likes of Juventus, Inter Milan and Sampdoria have all shown an interest in the Italian international as well, and Lazio are the latest linked with him in this transfer window.
Balotelli has had an up and down career so far, but has mostly shone in his native Italy, attracting interest from many top clubs before moving to Anfield this season.
