Juve line up surprise move for England star.
Serie A champions Juventus are reportedly lining up a shock move for Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere this summer, according to the Metro.
The 22-year-old has already been challenged by Arsene Wenger to make a more consistent contribution this season after spending much of the previous two campaigns on the sidelines through injury, but Juventus are thought to be keen despite his recent problems.
Reports have suggested that Juve have sounded out the Gunners about the possibility of letting them get close to the midfielder, and whether the north London outfit would consider selling.
However, it remains unlikely that Wenger would want to entertain any thoughts of parting with his midfield prodigy as he views him as a future club captain, but Wilshere’s injury concerns coupled with the controversy surrounding his constant smoking could force them to reconsider should a suitable bid come in.
Juventus are thought to be in he market for replacements for Arturo Vidal, who is expected to move on in the coming weeks.
