Reports in the Daily Star explain that the Chelsea boss has admitted he may have been unfair to slam supporters for their lack of noise during the 2-1 win, in which he damned the poor atmosphere at the club’s Stamford Bridge home.
But last night he said: “Maybe I went a little bit too far with the fans. But I see myself in the stands, watching Chelsea and I want to play, I want to help.
“I love my job. I am lucky to do it at the club I like so much and feel such a connection with, and maybe that makes me lead the club with a different emotion. If I’m not a player I cannot play, if I’m not a coach I cannot make decisions, if I’m just a fan what can I do to help?”
