Italy coach Cesar Prandelli has admitted feelings of jealousy because England have both Raheem Sterling and Daniel Sturridge at their disposal, reports the Sun.
The Liverpool duo, along with Uruguayan sensation Luis Suarez, have formed the most potent attacking trio in the Premier League this season, tearing apart defences with their exceptional pace and dribbling skills.
Both started England’s last match against Denmark, and are expected to be in Roy Hodgson’s starting lineup for the World Cup opener against Italy this summer.
“Sturridge and Sterling are very interesting prospects for England — they are players we’d really love to have ourselves,” said the Italian boss.
“They both have great pace and stamina, are energetic and playing exceptionally well for their club.
“England are lucky to have found such new and exciting players.
“Because of that I think we will find a very different England at this World Cup compared to the one we faced two years ago.
So far for Liverpool this season, Sturridge has scored 19 goals and assisted 7, while his teenage teammate has bagged six himself.
England boss Roy Hodgson has a job on his hands to work out how to play the pair with talisman Wayne Rooney, who similarly demands a place in the starting XI.
