The Gunners finally decide which keeper to sign…
Palermo goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano has flown to London for a medical ahead of a proposed loan deal to Arsenal, claims respected Sky Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
Di Marzio has had a near impeccable record this summer when breaking transfer news, and he is widely regarded as one of Europe’s most trusted sources.
Viviano has six caps for Italy, and will initially arrive on a loan deal to compete with current Polish stopper Wojciech Szczesny for the no.1 position.
Arsenal had been linked with Julio Cesar, Asmir Begovic and even Iker Casillas in recent months, but it appears with less than 48 hours to go before the transfer window closes, Wenger has got his man.
