Neazzuri keen on signing towering Bosnian.
Italian giants Inter Milan are on the verge of making an approach for Bosnian international Edin Dzeko, according to The Metro.
The Man City striker has become increasingly unhappy with his bit-part role at the Etihad and is ready to call it quits and ply his trade elsewhere.
The San Siro club are apparently more than happy to oblige, having been admirers of the Bosnian’s talents since his time at German club Wolfsburg.
Man City beat them to his £27 million pound signature and it is reported that City would be looking to recoup a similar figure were the player to leave the club.
That may price Inter out of a move but in reality a fee somewhere in the region of £20 million would probably be enough to secure a deal.
Dzeko has been in good form this season, hitting the back of the net nine times in the league despite only starting seven games.
The player is said to be getting increasingly frustrated with his manager’s refusal to reward his form with regular first team football and is looking for an escape to a club playing in the Champions League.
