The Cincinnati Bengals had already braced for action without starting running back Gio Bernard after he suffered a hip injury, and they were ready to move forward with Jeremy Hill as the starter since he had shown a lot of promise.
Hill was expected to have a big game, but he was the latest casualty on the Bengals’ injury list as he went down with a knee injury. The rookie out of LSU is questionable to return, so Rex Burkhead and Cedric Peerman will receive the bulk of the carries if Hill remains out.
