Former England international Peter Crouch has never minded a joke at his own expense, but on Monday night he finally accepted that he and one Arsenal star share a striking similarity.

Gunners full-back Nacho Monreal may not like it (or even understand it) but his teammates have recently taken to calling him “Crouchie” in homage to the Premier League’s lankiest goal getter.
At first, the real Crouchie seemed to deny it, but whilst watching the north London side progress to the semi final of the FA Cup on Monday night, he took to Twitter to finally admit that the comparisons were starting to ring true.
