Members of United squad enjoy NBA Manchester.
Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea met with Oklahoma City Thunder star Serge Ibaka after his clash with the Philadelphia 76ers in Manchester on Tuesday night.
The Thunder secured a 103-99 win over their opponents as part of the NBA Global Games pre-season schedule, with a number of United players in attendance.
Rio Ferdinand and Adnan Januzaj were seen court-side enjoying the action, while De Gea was also seen meeting with the players after the game.
OKC star Kevin Durant paid tribute to the crowd in his post-game press conference, claiming that there was a “great atmosphere” and that the fans “deserved NBA games coming over”.
The NBA returns to the UK in January with the Brooklyn Nets taking on the Atlanta Hawks at the O2 arena in London, as it continues to reward it’s fan base across the pond.
It follows on from January’s clash between the New York Knicks and the Detroit Pistons, with more games expected to be held in the UK moving forward as the NFL announced on Tuesday that it will have three regular season games at Wembley next season.
