British Formula One star posts photos on Instagram soon after Michael Schumacher accident.
Lewis Hamilton has become the target of abuse on his Instagram account after he posted photos of himself cross-country skiing and snow-shoeing in the aftermath of the accident involving Michael Schumacher.
Fans of the sport and the former German world champion, called Hamilton “insensitive” and “arrogant” after Schumacher hit his head and was forced into a coma to save his life.
“Very insensitive Lewis-while Schumacher is in a coma,” wrote one follower.
“He is my favourite but this could have waited, these posts are not necessary at this hour,” another added.
Many also defended Hamilton, claiming the criticism was over the top and unnecessary.
“He’s walking on snow. Not skiing. The others are cross country which is like walking on snow too. Michael’s injury is awful but that shouldn’t stop anyone else enjoying the snow,” one fan said.
fanatix wants to know is the criticism justified or are people overreacting?
